As our classes are made up of mixed year groups, we follow a carefully planned two-year rolling topic cycle. This ensures that all children experience a broad, balanced and engaging range of topics and learning experiences during their time in each class.

The cycle allows us to revisit and build upon key knowledge and skills while ensuring that children do not repeat the same topics as they move through the school. Our topics are designed to inspire curiosity, encourage children to make connections in their learning and provide opportunities for children of different ages and abilities to learn together.
