Beginning of the Day

8.40am: School gates open. Parents/carers drop off all children at the playground gate. Children enter classrooms by walking around the building independently. Willow Class and Maple Class children can be escorted to their classroom gate if needed. Please note that children cannot be dropped off before this time.

8.50am: Registration and learning begins.

Lunch Time

Our lunchtime runs from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and provides all pupils with an opportunity to enjoy their lunch and spend time with friends.

To ensure that lunchtime is a calm, comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, pupils have separate food sittings in the hall:

• EYFS & Key Stage 1: 12:00pm – 12:20pm
• Key Stage 2: 12:20pm – 12:40pm

While one group is enjoying their lunch in the hall, the other group enjoys their own playtime, providing an opportunity for children to play, socialise and spend time with other pupils in their Key Stage.

Once both groups have finished their lunch and playtime, all pupils come together for a shared playtime on the playground. This provides a wonderful opportunity for children across the school to socialise, play together and enjoy time with friends from different year groups.

Our lunchtime approach ensures that every child has time to enjoy their food, play and spend time with their friends, while creating a calm and happy atmosphere throughout the school.

End of the Day

School finishes at 3:05pm for all pupils. Parents and carers must enter the school via the field gate and walk around to their child's class. After School Clubs run Monday - Thursday.
