ECOH Work

ECOH stands for Eco Children Of Herefordshire and is a group of schools that work together to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon consumption and improve our local environments. As part of this work, the school has done the following:

• (BA) Started LED updating scheme – two-thirds of school already completed
• (BA) Tendering for Solar Panel installation to reduce carbon footprint of electric usage
• (BA & BW) ECOH monitors appointed in each class to reduce energy consumption where possible (e.g. switching off lights, devices, monitors etc when not in use)
• (BA & BW) Close monitoring and evaluation of energy usage (inc times and patterns) to identify and stop unnecessary energy usage
